Our Drinks
There must have been something special in the water in 2011. Hobbies and passions lead our family business down two new paths: planting a vineyard and bottling our first cider for sale to the public.
As a family business we pride ourselves on an absolute passion for taste and flavour. From the fruit to the glass, we set out to make drinks that excite your imagination, challenging ourselves and collaborating with others.
Ten years on and drinks are at the heart of Woolton Farm. Our wines are winning some of the most prestigious awards in the world and our cider is a leading player in the craft cider market, distributed across the UK and available in Kent and London’s best venues, from Michelin Starred restaurants to indie bottle shops, M&S, Shepherd Neame, Co-op and Eurostar.
Our Vineyard
We grow Bacchus, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
South facing aspect, on river gravel soils with sandy clays beneath. At only 145 feet above sea level and tucked beneath the top of the ridge, the vineyard enjoys a distinct and beneficial micro climate.
Our Approach
We only grow for ourselves meaning we can focus on quality over high yields and adapt to natural conditions with ease.
Our approach is all about small batches. We treat each year independently leaving room for creativity and spontaneity over formulation and consistency.
What People say
Our Cider
Kentish Pip has a big ambition: challenge the status quo, push aside the mediocre and reignite your love affair with cider.
We marry fruit from our four heritage cider apple orchards with crisp Kentish dessert and culinary apples to create a truly unique and signature style of cider.
We combine the best ingredients with innovation, style and a pinch of tradition so you can discover beyond your cider expectations.
